Allie Knowles

Allie Knowles has established herself as one of America’s most promising Three-Day Event riders. Allie is a Pony Club “A” graduate and Level 3 ICP certified trainer. Her tremendous work ethic and competitive edge have gained her the attention of her peers and the U.S. Team Selection Committee in recent years. She continues to earn numerous wins and titles with the goal of representing her country at the Olympic Games.

Allie was named the recipient of the Rebecca Broussard International Travel Grant for the 2012 season, winning $10,000 to pursue her international competition goals. In 2013, Allie added a number of wins to her record and competed at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* event for the first time. She was as the highest placed American after the dressage phase in her first 4* competition! In 2014 and 2015, Allie competed at the Advanced and Three-Star level, adding multiple top finishes at the level to her record aboard her two upper level mounts, Sound Prospect and The Dark Mark.

In 2016, Allie and Sound Prospect continued their competitive ways, including a 7th place finish in the Advanced at Rocking Horse, and an 8th place finish at Carolina International CCI4*-S. Allie took Sounder to the 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, where they finished 16th out of over 70 entries in Sounder’s CCI5*-L debut. They then capped off their year with a 13th place finish in a highly competitive field at the inaugural Great Meadow CCIO4*-S Nations Cup. In August, Allie and Sounder finished 9th in the highly competitive CCI4*-S division at Richland Park. At the 2017 American Eventing Championships, Allie and Business Class finished 3rd in the Preliminary Horse division and Ms. Poppins finished in 13th. Allie also rode Looks Like Lotte to a 5th place finish in the Training Horse division.

In 2018, Allie began season with a 2nd place finish in the Chattahoochee Hills CCI3*-S with Casarino. Later on in the season, Allie and Casarino finished 3rd in the Jersey CCI3*-L at Jersey Fresh International! At the Ocala International 3-Day Event Allie had a winning weekend. Allie and Princess B won the CCI2*-L and Allie finished 7th in the CCI3*-L with Business Class! In June, Allie piloted Sound Prospect to a 5th place finish in the CCI3*-S at Bromont in Canada. In July, Allie and Princess B finished 2nd in the CCI3*-L at Rebecca Farm. Allie’s success continued throughout the year, in October she finished 4th and 12th in the CCI3*-L at Fair Hill International with Morswood and Ms. Poppins.

2019 was a busy year for Allie. She was named to the USEF Development Training List in both August and November as well as earning multiple top 10 international completions. Allie finished second and fourth in the Jersey Fresh CCI4*-S with Sound Prospect and Princess B respectively before traveling to compete in the Luhmuhlen CCI5*-L in Germany with Sounder. The following month, Allie piloted Business Class to second place in the Bromont CCI3*-L. In September, Ms. Poppins placed ninth at the Plantation Field CCI3*-S to secure another top 10 FEI placing for Allie. Soon after she rode Princess B to 5th in the CCI4*-S and Ramdam de Mons to seventh in the CCI3*-S at Morven Park. Allie finished out the season at the Ocala Jockey Club International, where she placed 10th with Ramdam de Mons in the CCI3*-L.
